Angelos Roast Takeaway

Good place to come for takeaways but not much to support eating there. Friendly owner, which is always nice. Roast meat was very tasty - generous portion, gravy, vegetables etc If you are eating there you won't get a plate or a knife. Meal will come in plastic container with a wooden fork. There's definitely room for an extra table inside, quite strange no plates or proper cutlery. Wouldn't take much effort to make this a more enjoyable experience for people who want to eat there ...

~$10/Person We tried the small beef meal, lamb roll, and a fried chicken and potatoes. The food was very yummy although the oil did taste a bit old and the fried food was slightly soggy as it wasn't a busy day. The owners were very friendly :-) Overall still a great place and would return to again if I was in the area

I’ve been coming here with my mum since I was a little kid and Angelo’s Roast Blockhouse has never once disappointed, beautifully golden and crispy potatoes, generous portions of the chicken and lamb in the roast meals as well as veges and that beautiful gravy! The rolls (pork) are my absolute favourite! Tonight’s dinner was a large lamb roast meal for hubby, a large chicken roast meal for myself and a small chicken roast meal for my daughter! Hubby said “why would anyone make a roast at home when you can go to this place” I 1000% agree!

The owners are very nice and friendly. The portions are pretty generous and the price is reasonable. Their roast taste amazing very well seasoned not too salty or too bland. Highly recommend trying.
