Order Food in blockhouse-bay

Never judge a book by its cover, or a banh mi by a poor photo! Banh mi Delights Avondale in Auckland is my last stop on my Banh mi adventure of NZ, and with changing plans comes a quick google search and a random Banh mi lunch stop. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get but the recent reviews seems pretty good. And for good reason, packed with punch this was. Lemongrass beef with extra chilli and my tastebuds were singing. Glad my plans changed. 👏

I cant believe I havent left my review for this place - out of all of the purchases I have made here in the last 2 years I have only been disappointed twice, one was delivery driver error causing food to not taste fresh but too warm (must have been under the heater) and that their salads in their lunchbox is almost non existent but despite the lack of salad compared to when I first started buying their food I always look forward to our next meal at Maki Sushi. Great prices, beautiful quality and just overall a better option than almost all of the other standard sushi stores for our tastes. Thanks Maki Sushi!

Friendly service and good atmosphere. We went around 3:40 pm and waited around 20 mins for the food to be served. The vegan pansit was savory with fresh vegetables but VERY OILY. The lumpia’s pastry was thick and the flavor was weird. It was also very expensive ($7.00 per lumpia). We also bought sizzling sisig, but the flavor profile was not that of a typical sisig. The halo2 was okay. Will not come back to this place.

One of the best place in Auckland for dumplings.Great Northern Chinese flavour food. Fast and friendly service, very cheap prices.Recommend to anyone.

Very authentic, super delish, my new favourite place. Highly recommend the salty bean curd, the fry bread with brown sugar and thr soy milk is homemade, you can really taste the soy taste like you get back home. Already thinking of my next visit

A spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. This place is perfect for groups, whether it's friends or family. The service is always super friendly and attentive. Plus, the food is absolutely delicious, something for everyone to enjoy! Highly recommend checking it out.
