This is one of my favourite restaurants in Auckland.
Food is amazing. We usually get salt and pepper pork ribs, it is so well seasoned, right amount of flavour and crispiness.
Another dish I always get is pork and tofu clay pot and beef brisket pot. They are so juicy and well flavoured. Feels very clean after eating. Portion is super good and I am always so full after finishing.

We returned for dinner with the family and ordered 3 different types of claypot dish. They all taste delicious 😋

Came and tried out Dave's House in the Pakuranga Plaza. Newly opened and had lots of our favourite dishes. Beef Ho Fan, Fried dumplings, Singapore Fried Vermicelli and Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. Lots of parking outside and seating mainly for smaller tables, biggest for 8

Food that makes you want to live in a dead town.
For those who have recently been to Pakuranga Plaza, you might find that it is like a dead town. I incidentally found Dave’s house that serves authentic Chinese cuisine with reasonable prices. I love the stir fried rice noodle with beef. I could smell the fragrance when the lady boss served it to me. She is a lovely lady. She was so welcoming and she remembered her regular customers orders! I will visit them again when I am at that area.

I discovered this restaurant by accident. The environment is great and clean, the boss is very friendly, and the service is great. The dishes are large in portion, delicious and at a good price, especially the shrimps, which are big and fresh. The seafood and tofu soup is amazing and super fresh. The boss said that the broth has been brewed for six hours!! Parking is also very convenient, really recommended!
