Service okay, food is okay, it's warm and really suitable for winter food. I think they can improve the quality better especially with the taste. I personally find the chilli oil is really tasty and spicy which I like it but the soup itself it's a bit bland and the noodle texture if it can be a bit more chewy I think that gonna be my favorite. Well again just personal opinion. But it's good to eat on the spot. Size pretty big. Toilet is okay.

Slightly abrupt staff and a little help yourself, but the food is fantastic. Simple in their noodle focus but a terrific range of soups and beef. Noodles are made fresh and you can really appreciate the quality when you eat them. Prices are not like similar restaurants in Asia, but this is NZ and it's a small premium to pay for delicious food.

Came in on a cool rainy autumn night on the way back from a hike. Sooo good! And such authentic flavor, delicious and perfectly chewy handmade noodles. My husband and I had the pickled cabbage beef noodle soup and my brother had the special pork mince noodle. All three of us slurped every last bit down. We had some frangrant green tea and we were all ready to settle in for the night after that comforting meal. Will definitely go again!

First time here. Early Sat afternoon, fairly quiet. Greeted by the man behind the counter. We were accompanied by the 80s canton music. We had Braised Beef noodles, Pickled Cabbage Beef Noodles and Boiled dumplings. The noodles were very chewy with good texture, unfortunately, the soups were a bit disappointed. Not enough flavour, a bit bland.

Was passing by and was enticed by the chef hand-pulling the noodles. Love the open kitchen setting, you get to see the food prepared before your eyes. We ordered traditional beef noodles, dumplings and scallion pancakes. Everything was delicious! There are condiments on each table, chili oil included.🌶 Perfect, as we love spicy soup/dip. The menu is both in English and Chinese complete with photos, relatively easy to order at the counter. While you’re at it, grab a drink by the fridge and pay in one go. 😅 Good to see they have sugar-free choices of drink too. The soup spoons, small bowls (for condiments) and chopsticks are at the far end of the restaurant. It’s like fast-food Chinese style, was surprised that our orders were served really quick! 😄 We came in hungry, and came out very full. The staff and chef were nice and friendly.
If you are craving for noodles that is fresh, handmade, & springy to touch, this is the place to go if you’re in QT.
