Amazing seafood and chips from here. We got the family pack and it was ginormous. The potato patty was so interesting and tasty, and we enjoyed the kumara fries a lot, too. 🍟 We chose the warehou for our fish and finished every bit of it.

This place is outstanding. Their slogan claims "the best burgers in Kapiti," but it should say Wellington—because it’s true. Exceptionally fresh buns, homemade beef patties, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and I always add an egg. It’s the best burger I’ve ever had—simple, fresh, and not swimming in grease. The chips? Perfectly cooked every time, with clean oil. All topped off with genuinely friendly service.

Extremely disappointed in our meal! Chips are soggy, battered fish is soggy, virtually no lemon pepper as requested and the crumbed fish ordered was omitted, despite a reminder and confirmation of its existence at pay and pick up.
Further to my post above we are very grateful to Tim for responding so quickly and for generously offering to replace the original meal at no charge. Thank you Tim.
