Instagram advertising sent me here, I asked if more vegetables were coming out and the lovely lady let me know it would be about half an hour — zero stress, came back, wasn’t disappointed at all. Veggies were amazing, so was the cheesy broccoli and roast lemon potatoes. If you’re looking for a good home cooked meal with flavour and don’t have the energy— head here. The chicken was juicy, full of flavour. 🌸🌸

Chunky Chook makes some of the best crunchy fried chicken in the West! Reminds me of other chicken places in town, but closer to home (and just as good, if not better!). Their chicken is really juicy and tender, with a really crisp battered crust. I do enjoy the flavours they bring to both the chicken patties (especially their spicy chicken burger) and the chips. Subtle but noticeable. Always a great choice for lunch or dinner, and the amazing team there make it worthwhile.

THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY STREET!! With its smokey, chargrilled flavours this lil gem tucked away on Massey rd in Mangere is DEFINATELY worth a try!! MEAN FEED!!
