A good "old fashioned" fish & chip place.
I got an egg burger, a corn fritter & a couple of potato fritters.
Initially I was a bit apprehensive about the prices... Almost $10 for an egg burger is on the heavy end of the scale (I usually expect around the $6-$8 mark).
I found that the burger was substantial and the fried items were crispy & well cooked.
The staff were talkative & engaging on a freezing cold nite.
If I had a criticism... I guess I'd like to see the fried items a bit better drained but that said, one doesn't go to a chippy for the health food.
A rare 5 stars, well done!

Amazing fish and chips!..just like my childhood days. The fish was very fresh.

I would love to try the spring rolls next time I return.

I had a delicious fish and egg burger. The fillet with nice and thick, would've given 5 stars except the the burger cost over $11

This place was great. Amazing crunchy chips, possibly the best from a fish and chip takeaway we have had. Burgers were your typical Kiwi fish and chip type, nothing amazing about them but adequate. The fish was fresh and well battered. Don't get fooled into ordering online, their prices are different in-store and way cheaper.

Best Fish and Chips in town! Chips are incredible: thick, crispy and generous. The burgers are filled to the brim with ingredients (love the sauces and salad). I highly recommend the pineapple fritters. Staff and super friendly.
