First time to red bowl and had yum cha lunch there. Food is ok but not fantastic. Our pork dumplings(Siu mai) are very dry. Bbq rice vermicelli roll doesn't look very nice. Prawn dumpling taste the best among all those dim sum we ordered.

This is a lovely Chinese restaurant that the local Chinese go to eat out. That to me says that this is authentic and food, and also I must say that having been to China it IS authentic and delicious! the staff are nice and the price is very competitive.

Updated review: Looks like they have made some big changes to the menu and the staff. Waiting staff are very attentive and friendly. Place is cleaner and the food is better cooked. Prices are still reasonable
But some meat dishes were stingy on the meat. Like the flat noodles with beef. It was like where is Wally to find the beef.
2nd time we have had to send the prawn dumplings back as they were raw.
Pretty quick service when not busy, food is great but sometimes staff make mistakes and double up on your orders. Toilets need an over haul.
