Probably one of the best Xiao Long Bao in Auckland. The skin was soft and thin, the fillings were tasty and full of soup.
Food does take a while to come as all the baos are only made when you order.
The interior is nice and clean, service was attentive and welcoming.

Everything was super delicious and perfect – the only thing that’s a bit of a shame is that there isn’t a vegan option for dumplings combined with a vegan soup. Maybe something to consider for the future! The dumplings were incredibly soft.

I ordered the braised beef noodle soup from them.
First of all, their customer service was not bad.
Second, they took my order to cook by the “microwave”!!! (Which I’m pretty surprised!!)
Final, their price is quite high with microwave food!! And bokchoy is not cooked!!!
It seems bad to use microwave for the restaurant food and serve for your customers! Not sure if I would ever go back again, but please don’t use microwave next time on your food for customers! Who knows how long you kept it out, and what if one day your customers get food poison? For your microwave food with Braised beef noodle, please do at least $10 not $18.80! Please change this, or you will loose a lot of customers in the future.

I had the rose mango oolong tea, and the braised beef noodle soup and they were delicious. Other reviews have complained but I have zero issues! The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, I saw them bring out fresh noodles from their fridge when we placed our order so I trust the food is high quality and fresh. The tea was sweet, I think they might have made it with brewed tea and syrup, but im not complaining because thats probably how they make it at all the boba places too, and it was delicious, although it was sweet it wasnt too sweet for me (served cold btw). There were only two people on service but it's also a very small restaurant, and both staff were very friendly and hospitable. I would go again, I want to try the vegetarian bao next! 😊

Very clean and small eatery. Food is freshly handmade and tasty with an authentic Chinese flavour. The freshness of the Kiwi ingredients makes the meal complete with freshness. A must try alternative to the Michelin Star Chain Ding Tai Feng in Auckland NZ.
