As much as we love bal ganga, one thing this place lacks is consistency. We ordered momos (delicious btw) two times in 2 weeks. First time when the owner was there, the order was good. The second time we went, the order wasn’t complete.
Momos were carelessly thrown in the container, there was no sauce with it or the special powder/masala was missing.

My partner recommended this restaurant for its dry noodles with peanut sauce, so we decided to visit for dinner on Sunday.
We ordered the dry noodles with peanut sauce and dumplings (dandan noodles), kkwobarou, and shrimp fried rice.
The noodles were delicious as expected! The peanut sauce paired perfectly with the dumplings. We loved it.
The fried rice was quite good and generously portioned.
Lastly, the kkwobarou, fried with a layer of glutinous rice, was incredibly tasty and sweet. I really enjoyed it!
Overall, we had a great dinner here and this place is highly recommended.

Ordered wonton noodle soup for $12 at midday. No other customer. Service was quick but the soup didn't have garnish or vegetables. But the soup was great

It’s been a while since we bought from here. Never disappointed. Value for money. We ordered the special deal steak chow mein/chicken fried rice combo at $34. Enough to feed a family of 4. And 1 portion of fries for $4.50 - enough for 2 people.
Quick service. Securely wrapped and ready to go. Delicious and plenty leftover for tomorrow. The chips were cooked to perfection.
Based at Northcote shopping centre next to Woolworth supermarket. Lots of free parking.
Very popular and busy takeaway.

My second visit. Last time was Turkish coffee, apple tea and an excellent not-to-sweet baklava.
This time lunch was meze platter and lamb shish. Great flavoursome lamb, loved the stuffed vine leaves, and found my new favourite beetroot dip.
The only issue is that there is a lot of salt in some foods, e.g. the zucchini fritters we bought for a 1 year old.
We appreciated the atmosphere, decor and our alcove in the window.
Staff are very good, again.

My friend and were on the hunt for a spot to have a non-alcoholic beverage on Karangahape Road after work on a Friday night and we came across this café which was just up the road from his office so good location in this regard. Really liked that they opened late too as there aren't a lot of cafés that open late in the city. I think it was the owner who took our order - she was really nice. I had the chocolate brownie and to drink the passion and mango tea (NZD9.50c). Really liked the fruit tea I had and I'd order it again for sure. The brownie was a bit dry but the short bread biscuit with lemon icing was really good so I'll order this next time. Looking forward to trying out the other fruit teas and milk teas on offer! Indoor seating available and there are treats in the cabinet to order with your drink. Also possible to order drinks via their website.
