One of the best Japanese restaurants in Auckland. We've been here a number of times and it never disappoints. Our favorite is their bento box which have all our favorite. The owners are also very kind, highly recommended!

Cafe KOKO, omg! What a wholesome cafe! You immediately feel warm and welcome upon walking in. The owners are soo kind and seem to be very beautiful, genuine people. This place really pulled all my heart strings if you can’t tell already! The little signs/drawings on the walls are sweetest. A small space with a lot of character. Truly a gem. I’d recommend everyone to give this place a go if you’re nearby. As for the food it was delicious! I looove the Tofu Salad and I’ll definitely come back for more! Japanese teas are new one for me so I tried the Sen-cha (Green Tea), it was too strong for my liking but my husband loved it, hehe. Next time I’ll give one of the other two options a go! Overall I had a wonderful experience, thank you!

Definitely had reservations about this place but I was pleasantly surprised. Nestled in a cosy corner, this charming Japanese shop is a hidden gem that reminds me of restaurants we visited in our trips to Japan with its authenticity.
The service is impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, making you feel like a valued guest.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly the ramen, which should be eaten inhouse. We also got the katsu curry and chicken karage curry which is really good too - we ate it too quickly to take a photo. Decent size portion sizes as well for a big eater.

Delicious, simple meals that are generous in size and affordable in price. We're addicted to the lunch bowls and have them nearly every other week when you're too lazy to cook, but want something that is more satisfying and affordable than fast food. When you can, have lunch on the weekend at the premises that has the feel and ambience of an actual Japanese eating spot because guess what- the owners are Japanese. Can't be more authentic than that.

This is my favourite place to eat. Best Japanese joint around. My family and I have been coming here for years. Delicious coffee too!
