It’s my favorite spot in Auckland, and I will miss it dearly. My favorite has always been the pork and chive steamed dumplings. You get 16 large, tasty dumplings for just $20. It’s a family business, and the owner, along with his family, provides lovely service. While you don’t often have to wait, when it does get busy, it’s worth it because they make everything fresh, not from frozen. The food is consistently delicious, and we’ve always received excellent service. I rate it the best dumpling shop ever, anywhere. Thank you to the owner and his lovely daughter for taking care of us for almost two years and for the wonderful food they served us.

Only 4-5 tables so not suitable for large groups. No restroom accessible to customers from what we could see but didn’t ask if there was one to use behind the counter. The chicken and mushroom, vegetarian, and vegan dumplings were delicious. We’d go back if we need a quick and reliable stop for lunch but the place itself is a little run-down.

quote Best dumplings I've ever had in a very long time!! We ordered the pork, chives and prawn pan fried dumplings and they were absolutely delicious, generous portions, there was a whole prawn in each one! The garlic vinegar sauce is top tier along with their chilli oil! Highly recommend!!
