It’s my favorite spot in Auckland, and I will miss it dearly. My favorite has always been the pork and chive steamed dumplings. You get 16 large, tasty dumplings for just $20. It’s a family business, and the owner, along with his family, provides lovely service. While you don’t often have to wait, when it does get busy, it’s worth it because they make everything fresh, not from frozen. The food is consistently delicious, and we’ve always received excellent service. I rate it the best dumpling shop ever, anywhere. Thank you to the owner and his lovely daughter for taking care of us for almost two years and for the wonderful food they served us.

quote Definitely a hole in the wall. Honestly went up to go in and almost turned around because of how run down the inside looked. I’m glad the atmosphere did not represent the food! The vegetarian dumplings were yummy as was the vegan fried rice. The service was quick although there was a pretty big language barrier. The adults who worked there seemed to speak no to very very little English and the boy who took our order and served us spoke a little more English but it was still difficult to communicate. I’ll also note that the dumplings and the rice were pretty oily, but if that doesn’t bother you then definitely come here for delicious dumplings.
