Hands down the most delicious, juicy, and flavorful chicken I’ve had on the entire Gold Coast! The Chicken Shop in Chevron Island is an absolute gem, every bite is succulent, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. Mariana and Tariq have created something truly special. You can taste the care, passion, and quality in everything they serve — it’s comfort food at its finest, with that homestyle touch that makes you feel right at home. It’s not just a meal, it’s a full-on flavour experience & one I’ll keep coming back for. If you’re anywhere near the Gold Coast, do yourself a favor and try it. You won’t regret it. Wow. This place truly was so so wonderful. I was visiting from out of the country and was unsure what to order. The owner was so helpful and kind. Truly a wonderful experience. In addition, the food was delicious!!! While in new Zealand I visited Auckland, Christchurch, Rotorua, Wellington, and Dunedin, and this was one of my favorite places I stoped to eat. Wonderful family owned restaurant. Definitely try the donburi.

THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY STREET!! With its smokey, chargrilled flavours this lil gem tucked away on Massey rd in Mangere is DEFINATELY worth a try!! MEAN FEED!!

I can say one thing out of the majority of chicken shops in the area Rooster and Grill take top spot in terms of food quality. Prepared fresh its delivered hot! Substantial meals and well priced. Chicken schnitzel burgers are a must! We will definitely be coming back to try more off the menu.
