First time here. Ordered nasi lemak beef rendang, laksa with chicken, char kuay teow. Food portion is big. Taste overall nice. I loved char kway teow the most. Was surprised there’s wok hey, not a lot but good enough as can’t taste it anywhere over here. Will come back again to try other food! Staff is very friendly 🫶

Lovely gem at Hamilton. Very authentic Malaysian food. Great taste and portions. Love the Char kway teow, Claypot chicken and the sambal chili!

We’re from Auckland, visiting Hamilton. We were absolutely delighted by our experience at Penang Street Food. If you’re looking for authentic Malaysian cuisine, I highly recommend this place! The food is fantastic, the staff is incredibly friendly, and there are plenty of off-street parking options. They also offer VIP rooms, perfect for group gatherings or a more private dining experience. Definitely a must-visit!

We loved the food, even though it was not spicy for me, but chilli was available. The customer service was great. The food came out in no time. We were greeted well and given a glass of water and some papadoms. There was plenty of street parking available. During the night you don't have to pay for parking .... We spent nearly an hour before we left.
