Amazingly delicious authentic Sarawakian food! Wish I could try everything on the menu but so far the kolo mee, Sarawak laksa and CKT have been perfect. Have never had kolo mee this authentic outside of Kuching before. Just unpretentious tasty hearty meals. Complimentary soup is a great starter.

My parents told me about this place and said they serve my childhood dishes from when I was growing up in Malaysia. The KOLOMEE is by far even better than back home!
The food today bought back so many happy memories associated with the taste. I’m so glad to have finally made my way to come here to eat the food, I’m Wellington based but drove to Auckland for work, in hindsight I drove basically 9hours for noodles haha

Even though Taisumyun is famous for their kolomee, their mie goreng is way better! The mie goreng is bursting with flavor, packed with just the right amount of spice, and infused with that irresistible wok-hei. It’s the closest we've tasted to the kind of mie goreng we usually have back in Malaysia.
The place is pretty small—just two people running the show when we're there—so service can be a bit slow. But the steady queue when we were there says it all. When locals are willing to wait, you know the food’s legit!

Best curry laksa I’ve had outside of Malaysia, thank you! Very generous portion, loads of noodles, chicken and tofu puffs for $19

Authentic Malay food. Haven't tried everything on the menu but what I've tried is yummy. Will definitely be trying all of them.
My favorite is the curry chicken noodles and the chicken rice. So full of flavour.
Try the nasi lemak with chicken curry or beef rendang.
Free soup when you dine in.
