Authentic Malay food. Haven't tried everything on the menu but what I've tried is yummy. Will definitely be trying all of them.
My favorite is the curry chicken noodles and the chicken rice. So full of flavour.
Try the nasi lemak with chicken curry or beef rendang.
Free soup when you dine in.

Best curry laksa I’ve had outside of Malaysia, thank you! Very generous portion, loads of noodles, chicken and tofu puffs for $19

As a Malaysian eating at a Malaysian restaurant in New Zealand, I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic the food tasted—just like back home! The nasi lemak was spot on, with that perfect sambal kick , curry chicken and creamy coconut rice. Even the curry laksa hit the mark with its rich, spicy broth. It honestly felt like I was back in Malaysia. For any Malaysians missing home or anyone curious about real Malaysian flavors, this place is definitely worth checking out. It's as close as you can get to the real deal without hopping on a plane!

This quaint little restaurant was delicious! Excellent taste and massive portion sizes. We ordered 3 mains for the 3 of us, but 2 would have been enough. Also you can grab free soup while you wait, which was also delicious.
It's small (only 4 tables), so you might have to come off peak to get a spot. It's a husband and wife restaurant, so you might have to ring the bell on the counter if they're both in the kitchen. They should get a bell for the door.
Highly recommended!

I finally got to try their Sarawak noodle干拌面 and I have to say it's really similar to the Sarawakian style. The Hainanese chicken rice (海南鸡饭)and Wat Tan Hor (滑蛋和)are also very authentic. If you're looking to try some "East" Malaysia style food, I highly recommend this restaurant because most of the Auckland Malaysian food comes from the "West". The prices are reasonable, the place is clean, and there's plenty of parking. Plus, the staff is lovely.
